Drama exploring themes of inequality and power that still resonate today.

England at war. The Suffragette movement gaining strength. Journalist Dorothy Lawrence aspires to become a war correspondent; she cycles to the frontline in France. She was never seen in public again. 100 years on a woman shouts a Punk Prayer in a cathedral. Her arrest triggers a storm of protest worldwide. A cast of four with integrated BSL investigates these remarkable stories of how history repeats itself; exposing the ways Society deals with women who step out of line. Part of Enfield Black History Month.
