Markson's Jazz Night

The Victory pub is embarking on a series of monthly live jazz nights, for which manager Stephen Chapman will be laying on a special jazz menu as well as serving draught Guinness and a range of fine ales.
The jazz trio is led by outstanding pianist Roger Alexander Lewin, one of the south-east’s most sought-after pianists, who regularly plays in London’s finest hotels including The Dorchester, Claridges and The Savoy. Roger has accompanied many celebrated singers including Gwyneth Paltrow, Trudy Kerr, Tina May and Patti Boulaye, and appears in London’s top jazz clubs such as the Pizza Express, 100 Club and the Bull at Barnes. He will be playing an immaculate Welmar piano provided by Simon and Julian Markson who preside over Markson Pianos - the family firm - and whose extensive piano showrooms are conveniently located across the road in Albany Street. The trio consists of Roger Lewin on piano, Trevor Harrington on drums and Dave Silk on bass with guest vocalist Jacci Norris.
