Mycenae Soup – a community micro-granting dinner

Mycenae House is inviting you to an innovative, fun, community micro-granting dinner called ‘Mycenae Soup’ on the evening of Friday 2nd October at 7.30pm.

We’d love for you, your friends and family to join us.
This will be a fun, social event - dinner will be provided, the bar will be open, and you will be entertained by singer songwriter and all round good egg, Rob Aldridge with support from local poet Rosie Johnston.

So, here’s the basic idea: You, amongst friends and others will pay for a great night out at Mycenae House. The food, entertainment and the venue have been gifted by generous local companies, so that all the moneys raised can go directly to a local project that will benefit the community. The winning project will be chosen by you and those attending by a simple vote, following a short presentation from each of eight projects during the evening.

Local charities, community groups, initiatives and social entrepreneurs, are busy proposing projects to us and the best eight will be chosen to present to you on the night.

So what’s not to love - A Great Night Out, A Good Meal, and the Support of mutually beneficial community projects.

Make your reservation now with a minimum donation of £7 per person.( we hope you can give more!) Companies may book a table of six for a minimum donation of £100.
