Doc'n Roll have been given exclusive access to screen the brilliant French documentary Daft Punk: Unchained. The special screening will take place at Oval Space in Hackney at 2pm on Sunday 20th Sept.

The BBC Worldwide production directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre is the first film to be made about the pop culture phenomenon. The often elusive duo have sold 12 million albums worldwide and won awards around the globe without ever compromising their vision or sound. Between fiction and reality, magic and secrets, future and reinvention, theatricality and humility, The Robots have built a unique world.

The documentary shows Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel Homem-Christo on their permanent quest for creativity, independence and freedom. Unchained has unprecedented access and combines rare archive footage and exclusive interviews with their closest collaborators including Giorgio Moroder, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Michel Gondry, Pete Tong, Skrillex and Leiji Matsumoto.

In French with English subtitles.

To win a pair of free tickets, people must sign up to the Doc'n Roll mailing list and before 12pm on Thursday 17th September. Winners will be notified on the 18th September.

The festival runs from 25 September until 4 October at Picturehouse Central. Tickets for the other 15 festival screenings can be booked on the festival website.
