Art Macabre celebrates the dark, Gothic world of Tim Burton's imagination by hosting an afternoon drawing event.

Part of The Big Draw 2015:
To coincide with the 25th anniversary re-release of Edward Scissorhands, Art Macabre celebrates the dark, Gothic world of Tim Burton's imagination. Injecting a lethal dose of the macabre and curiosity into drawing events with nude and costumed life models.

Starting out as an artist and animator himself, this event will be an opportunity to develop your own twisted illustrations inspired by Tim Burton's tales. Part of The Big Draw 2015, explore the stories such as 'The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy'. Sketch scenes inspired by classic Burton film characters. Models will bring to life classic characters from Scissorhands to Beetlejuice, The Corpse Bride to Sweeney Todd. Music to sketch by will be drawn from the atmospheric soundtracks of Burton's films. Indulge your Gothic side and taste for the unusual at a drawing workshop with a deathly difference!

Drawing materials and paper provided. All levels of drawing confidence and experience welcome.
