B&H Presents: Terror on the Thames

This Halloween, be transported back to a time when a thick smog filled the cobbled streets of London, crazed doctors engaged in mad methods, and mysterious cloaked figures lurked in shadowy opium dens. Taking place on Saturday 31st October, Bourne & Hollingsworth’s Terror on the Thames Party will unveil all of the gruesome on-goings of the 19th Century, in one of the most spine- chilling Halloween parties of the year.

Not for the faint hearted, Terror on the Thames will re-enact some of the most twisted Victorian tales. From bloodied skirts on Petticoat lane and unorthodox dissections in Bleeding Heart Yard, to murderous split personalities in Hyde Park and werewolf sightings on the Isle of Dogs, this party will celebrate London’s darkest moments in Victorian history and literature. Shifty grave robbers, pernicious pickpockets and ginned-up strumpets will rub shoulders with razor wielding barbers, aristocratic sociopaths and scalpel-happy surgeons.

Prepare to be submerged in a disturbing world that is both shocking and thrilling, with oddities so strange you won’t believe your eyes. Held in a riverside archway venue, underneath Waterloo Bridge, Terror on the Thames is an enthralling event combining Bourne & Hollingsworth’s flawless production abilities, innovative cocktails, imaginative theming and wondrous entertainment choices.
