This Autumn, sketch launches the second series of its popular Creative Talks, a monthly programme of informal discussions from celebrated minds in the creative industry. Renowned Italian gallerist Rossana Orlandi and Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc kicked off the new series this London Design Festival 2015, speaking to a packed-out Parlour at the Mayfair establishment.

The casual, salon-style conversations offers an insight to the minds of brilliant influen- cers in art and design. Upcoming confirmed speakers include the purveyor of powerful pattern, Camille Walala; designer Ilse Crawford; Bethan Laura Wood; and art director of Moroso, Patrizia Moroso.

It has often been considered that the most interesting and dynamic dialogues between two great creative minds often occur during relaxed exchanges in an intimate setting. With this in mind, set in sketch Parlour, reclining on Louis XV style seating, audiences will share in broad ranging, unscripted conversations between the speaker and a partner of their choice. The relaxed, casual nature of the event will enable audiences to discover and learn first hand what inspires, motivates and influences the speakers’ work.

Chairing the talks will be design editor and curator, Max Fraser, who has carefully selected a line-up of strong, revolutionary women within the design industry.

Confirmed schedule:
Monday 19th October - 7.30pm: Camille Walala
Monday 23rd November - 7.30pm: Ilse Crawford
Sunday 6th December - 6.30pm: Bethan Laura Wood
Tuesday 19th January - 7.30pm: Patrizia Moroso

The Creative Talks will be held in the Parlour, sketch, 9 Conduit Street, London, W1S 2XG. Entry on a first-come, first-served basis.
