My Tricksy Spirit - psychedelic gamelan triphop

My Tricksy Spirit fuses the shimmering sounds of Balinese gamelan instruments called gendér wayang with dub, electronic, ambient, trip-hop, and psychedelic rock. Gendér wayang is the name given to a small duo or quartet of bronze metallophones, used in Bali to accompany the shadow play (wayang kulit). With Ableton Live, synths and effects, guitar, bass and drums, My Tricksy Spirit’s music is played through a desk like dub to create an intense psychedelic journey through sound. The concert is the official launch of SEA ArtsFest 2015.
