The Lullaby Trust is proud to announce its first annual Carols by Candlelight fundraising concert, taking place 10 December at St Columba’s Church of Scotland in Knightsbridge
The event will feature readings, traditional carols as well as mince pies and mulled wine. Proceeds will go towards the charity’s vital bereavement support services and ongoing research into the causes of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Amongst those providing readings are BBC Radio 4 presenter Sarah Montague, Indian Summers star Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Downton Abbey’s Harry Hadden-Paton.
Music will be provided by the Medici Choir, organist Ben Lewis-Smith and a string quartet led by concert violinist Antonia Azoitei. In addition, opera singers Jamie Lonsdale and Alexandra Kennedy will premiere a new carol composed specifically for the event.
Mince pies and mulled wine will be served at the reception, sponsored by Quilter Cheviot and attendees can also place a message in memory of a loved one on the Partridges Memory Tree.
