Hot off the back of the hands-down success of the first Culinary Debate in September, COUNTER announces Beer vs Wine's Thanksgiving Special.

Beer vs Wine is a great, fun and interactive night of Beer and Wine, matched with our Chef's own menu selection. Tickets are priced at £35 for limited early bird tickets and include a five-course dinner comprising starter, main, dessert and cheese and without question, a healthy debate. Standard ticket pricing is £45 per head.

Hamish Robertson from Majestic and Sanj Devaraj from Utobeer will put their product and some healthy rivalry to the test all in the name of good clean fun, as they put their best foot forward to show that the grape is greatest or indeed that, the hops have it.

COUNTER Chef, Dan Blucert's special Thanksgiving Menu is a take on old vs new that sees ancient native American twists and classic English techniques head-to-head with a menu celebrating one of the most-famous holiday's in the “New World.”

A celebration of the first harvest for our good mates across the pond Beer vs Wine's special five course Thanksgiving Menu includes,

Roast chestnut soup with pomegranate molasses and thyme frybread, Green bean casserole with Wookey cave-aged cheddar, Cod loin, crispy sweet potato skin, hominy grits and cranberries, Pastrami cured Turkey breast, braised red cabbage, bacon and corn bread, Pecan Pie with maple glaze and cardamom cream.
