Embankment Summer Market 2016

Embankment Summer Market returns to Victoria Embankment Gardens on London’s Northbank from Friday 15th July to Sunday 17th July 2016.

Following its highly successful launch in 2015, which saw in excess of 15,000 people visit Embankment Summer Market, organisers City Showcase: Markets, the UK’s premier organiser of artisan and designer crafts events, are now inviting applications from stallholders, creatives and musicians who are interested in taking part in the unique free event.

Embankment Summer Market brings together a handpicked selection of emerging artisans, artists, and fashion and jewellery designers with gourmet food and drink vendors and a farmer’s market. There will also be lawn games including giant jenga and croquet plus live entertainment, creating a great family day out.

City Showcase: Markets will curate a handpicked selection of stallholders as well as live performers on the City Showcase stage. The deadline for submissions is 27th February 2016.

City Showcase, the team behind Soho Flea Market, and Dalston Christmas Market is a not-for-profit organisation that supports and nurtures new creatives from all disciplines. They are renowned for featuring high quality, distinctive, talented and quirky designers showcasing handmade products, alongside top quality street food and live entertainment.

Embankment Summer Market is a distinctly chic, boutique festival style event in a wonderful, scenic location on the Northbank of the Thames between Embankment Station and the Royal Courts of Justice and Somerset House.

The Connection at St Martin’s, which helps homeless people in the heart of Central London, will be the event’s charity partner in 2016.
