In this reading group, led by critic and curator Isobel Harbison, we will read extracts from The Magic Christian by Terry Southern and Why Have I Not Written Any of My Books by Marcel Bènabou, discussing comic self-effacement as a literary conceit and artistic methodology. We will use the subject as a platform to discuss specific works of art by Mick Peter in Pyramid Selling and others.

Isobel Harbison is a London based, writer, critic and curator.

Texts will be sent to all ticket holders in advance of the evening.
