Sign of the Times celebrates the launch of the book of the same name a celebration of the early 90s.

Sign of the Times will be presenting a night of 90s musical nostalgia but also paying it forward to the youth of today with the grass roots charity London Village Network and London's hottest young musical collective Raw Art Rare Essence with neo soul, spoken word, hip hop and dance.

The night will start with a book signing of the limited editon book and then at 8pm Martyn Passey will read his moving poem that he wrote on the last night of Shoom that Sign of the Times Kensington Market purchased and gave out for free in the shop back in 1989.

Arts Club:

From 7-12pm Scottish Paul from Piebury Corner will be playing the 90s on 45rpm vinyl that he has extensively collected over the years and Paul Backstage Sluts will finish with a 90s mash up.

Basement:

9pm - 11pm - Raw Art Rare Essence will be performing a scorching musical revue of the latest neo soul, hip hop, dance and spoken word performed in a tight revue format.

11-12.30 Andy Blake from World Unknown will be playing a heavy Balearic set of old and new tunes.

12.30 - 2am: a very special guest wll be playing Acid House and Balearic tunes so we can all party together.

Sign of the Times where everyone is a V.I.P - There is a voluntary £5 contribution towards costs with profit going to the London Village Network Charity a grass roots charity working with and inspiring young people.

Musical Mindz a youth musical organisation have kindly agreed to help with musical production on the night.

Rod from Bubble Vision lighting will be using original Sign of the Times slides for visuals.
