HTC announces an immersive theatre production to coincide with the launch of Vive, its highly anticipated VR headset in London.
Playfully named ‘Virtually Dead’, the unique experience invites ticketholders to enter “an immersive world” in the fight to save a small town from a plague of Zombies.
Set in a ‘secret east London location’ and boasting a cast of 22 actors, the production spans over half a kilometre, guiding ticketholders through an interactive story before entering designated ‘VR Zones’ where the action is taken to new levels in virtual reality.
Taking place between the 19th of March and the 3rd of April, Virtually Dead is the first opportunity for many Londoners to demo the sought after HTC Vive technology before it hits the shelves in April.
