This February the RAF Museum will be holding some special archive viewing sessions. 'Love in the Forces' will focus on the relationships formed by individuals serving in the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Naval Air Service and RAF by showing original material rarely on display will be available to the public.
Our archive viewing sessions on 20 and 21 February will share stories of love and loss. It will explore the importance of comradeship and friendship as well as the family ties which support and sustain.
We will also highlight how romance could blossom in a time of war and the impact which conflict could have on relationships. Diaries, letters and photographs will provide an insight about the experiences of those who have served.
Join us this February to take advantage of this opportunity to view unique items and to learn more.
