Kansas Smitty's: Vinyl Night (Fridays)

Although Vinyl’s are a strong focus at the Kansas Smitty’s bar, on Fridays the records take centre stage. All week the members of the house band take trips around town and even the world, collecting interesting pieces of music from Colombian Cumbia to Louisiana Swamp Rock, and Fridays is when they test each records mettle against the ears present. Kansas Smitty’s invite guests to bring their own discoveries along and play them on the Audiogold
PA system. Fridays also signify a time of cocktail experimenting behind the bar, as the talented bar staff whip up new cocktails and if guests play their records right they may get the bar’s liquid seal of approval.
