“The most exciting development in classical music for decades, if not centuries”
The Times
This concert features poignant works by two remarkable living composers: British composer Gavin Bryars’s deeply moving Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet based on the song of an unknown homeless man, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw. These two modern works will sandwich an arrangement of Bach’s ‘Fuga, Ricercata in 6 voices’ from The Musical Offering.
