Edgar & Me

Edgar and Me tells the story of the penpal relationship between the performer, Charlotte Blackburn, and Edgar Garcia, an inmate on Death Row in Terre Haute prison, Indiana. This performance depicts their relationship through his letters to her, the stories they have shared, and his past, as she discovered it online. During the piece, she invites her audience into their world, telling them their story, and taking them on their journey. This thought-provoking piece, created by Charlotte and director Tim Norwood, explores the lives of Death Row inmates in Terre Haute, alongside this friendship.
