Chinese Visual Festival

Chinese Visual Festival will have its 6th edition in London from 11th - 20th May at King's College London, BFI Southbank and the Bertha DocHouse screen at Curzon Bloomsbury.

The festival will be screening more than 30 films from around the Chinese language speaking world, including fiction, documentaries, art cinema and shorts from Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. A number of high-profile guests will visit London for the festival, including artist Cao Fei, directors Yang Lina, Jin Huaqing and Nora Lam Tze Wing, plus actor Huang Shang-ho, actress and singer Ado Kaliting Pacidal, performer Gongqiu Zhuoma, and Hong Kong Fresh Wave filmmakers. The festival also features strands on LGBTQ cinema and a variety of contemporary issues, with Q&As and panel discussion sessions that give the audience a chance to get involved.
