Richard Höglund - Primary Colours

Ronchini Gallery is delighted to present the first UK solo exhibition of works by Richard Höglund. Höglund’s unique practice explores the fundamental artistic practice of drawing with the combined use of traditional and contemporary materials to create distinctive works he calls Sea Pictures.

Höglund’s drawings are unmediated and expressive. The artist’s extensive research into language and philosophy informs his practice. He sees drawing as a step between our minds and language, and his large-scale works depict a multitude of sentiments in the abstract form.
