Kayak The Canal

Paddle through the Hackney canals from Limehouse to Crate Brewery on the water’s edge.

An urban adventure through the industrial Limehouse canal. If you’ve never canoed before that’s fine. This adventure is suitable for everyone. At 6km, the route passes warehouses, houseboats and water based wildlife along the way.

Once you arrive you can grab some well deserved pizza and beers at Crate Brewery’s beautiful boat alongside Crate Brewery, an excellent independent on site brewery. (Please buy your drinks on the boat. You can order your pizzas at the main Crate bar and they will bring them to you on the boat).

Then home via nearby Hackney Wick overground and rail station (2 minute walk away).

Duration: Roughly 2 hours 30 minutes which includes briefing and kitting out. Then it’s as long as you like at Crate’s boat for pizza and drinks
