Milestones: a celebration of Joseph Horovitz and Derek Bourgeois

East London Brass and the Addison Singers present a roof-raising programme of works from two of Britain's most prolific composers, and of the composers who inspired them. The concert features the world premiere of the brass band version of Bourgeois’ Tuba Concerto No. 2, specially commissioned for these performers, and Horovitz’s Samson Oratorio, a rare example of a work for chorus and brass band that tells the Bible story in vivid and dramatic style.
