Mo is a housebound hypochondriac determined to defeat his phobias and prove his worth to Miia, the woman who has just left him. Inspired by a daytime TV documentary Mo is convinced a train trip to the Siberian unknown with Miia will be his only chance of reinvention, self-validation and romantic love.
Permafrost explores the bittersweet impact of lost love, and the harsh realities faced by a man attempting to claw his way out of loneliness and a constant fear his body will fail on him. Blundering ahead with his good nature and badly planned cringe-inducing schemes, can Mo become a hero, even if only to himself?
Permafrost is a mono-play with video elements by a new London-based company Londonville Lit.
