The 11th edition of our short film festival will be taking place at Hackney House 2nd - 7th September: http://hackneyhouse.london/

Hot on the heels of last year's successful festival which celebrated a decade of The Smalls, this year's event boasts a compelling line-up of talent, talks, panel discussions, workshops and screenings.

Some of this year's festival highlights include: a keynote speech from Jon Drever (Executive Producer of 2014 Oscar-nominated Virunga and Director of Grain Media), a brand new category honouring local filmmakers from East London, a panel discussion on the "secrets of successful modern-day comedy writing" with a host of writers and comedians including Ben Willbond, and the "Future for Publishers in the Online Content World" panel discussion with speakers from Stylist, LAD Bible, News UK, Nowness and It's Nice That. The festival also plays host to a number of influential names across the panels and screenings including Vice, Facebook, Final Draft, Panavision, Unruly, D&AD, VOTD, STUDIOCANAL and Creative England.

Networking and drinks will take place daily on 3rd - 6th September from 6pm - 11pm, allowing budding and established filmmakers and enthusiasts to meet peers and potential collaborators.

The event will conclude with an Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 7th September presented by the comedian Eleanor Conway.
