Join our co-director Mary Doyle, Jo Applin (writer and lecturer in Contemporary Art at Courtauld Institute) and Hélène Vandenberghe (art historian) who will discuss the drawings of Philippe Vandenberg.

Jo Applin is an art historian specialising in American art since 1945, with a particular emphasis on questions of gender and sexuality. Her books include Eccentric Objects: Rethinking Sculpture in 1960s America (Yale University Press, 2012) and Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirror Room-Phalli's Field (MIT Press, 2012). She is currently completing a book on the American artist Lee Lozano.
