“Increasingly absurd…increasingly hilarious” – Hollywood Reporter

Winner of Best Film at the London Film Festival, Athina Rachel Tsangari’s Chevalier (2016; Greece) is a perfectly pitched comedy satire that puts masculinity under a microscope.

Taking competitive spirit to the extreme, six men holidaying together on a luxury yacht go to bizarre lengths to prove that he who is the ‘best in general’. Concocting an increasingly absurd series of contests to test each other’s manhood, they score each other on everything from flatpack furniture assembly to morning erections.

With all good sportsmanship well and truly out the window, it’s only a matter of time until the knives come out…

Think you have what it takes to be the best in general? Professional quizzing company Question One will be at the screening beforehand to run a pub-style quiz for the audience. Get yourself into teams for the chance to win some fantastic prizes. First prize is a sailing course for two from the Croydon Sailing Club, second prize is a DVD bundle from Studiocanal and 3rd prize is a membership to Stanley’s Film Club.
