Winterfest

For one night only see Allbrook House become a living canvass as 30 dancers perform on the balconies of the tower block to a specially produced soundtrack with voices of residents' expressing their hopes for the future and celebrate the history of the Alton Estate.

The event begins with an illuminated lantern parade with hundreds of families and community groups taking part as it winds it's way to Library Green for the main event led by a live band.

This year’s festive celebration will transform familiar spaces on a winter’s evening with festive singing, a music-led and a spectacular finale performance using light, music and dance on Library Green.

Wrap up warm and come along for the main event by Roehampton Library.

WinterFest is a collaboration between Roehampton Outdoor Art Movement, CoDa Dance, Spare Tyre and Emergency Exit Arts, supported in 2016 by the Wimbledon Foundation Community Fund, the Big Lottery Fund and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
