Elegant Decadence kicks off 2017 and a new run of monthly nights with a truely immense line up. The fantatic Manuskript, firm favourites of the ED team, bring boundless energy to a live show. They are ably supported by ED veterans and phenominal performers Ghost of Lemora and Nine Day Decline.

Those in the know will also tell you that as far as live show, there aren't many better live UK goth acts than Manuskript. The energy and interplay between the band on-stage is infectious and their dashing style, wicked sense of humour have charming audiences worldwide for the best part of 20 years. If you haven't caught them yet... you're in luck. They hold the distinction of being the most popular band at Whitby Gothic Weekend - a festival which over the years, they have made their own - returning (by popular demand) more times than any other band.

Formed in London in 2001, The Ghost of Lemora have risen to the top of the pile in UK alternative scene with a heady mix of glam, post-punk and dark rock.

Since their debut album for Resurrection Records, "Reach For The Ground", in 2004. The band have built a sizeable following with headline slots at Camden Underworld and countless venues across the country. Support slots include The Damned, The Gathering, Clan of Xymox and labelmates Inkubus Sukkubus.

The band have just released an EP of spectacular new songs called Sweet Satan and have added new members Jeff Simon on drums, bass player Colin Ness and the legendary Peter Jennings ex of Cressida on keyboards, giving the band a new dimension and transforming their sound.

Nine Day Decline have a musical pedigree including Altered States, Dead Heaven, Complicity, Christian Death, Counting the Mad, F.O.C., Section 3, and more.... dark emotional post-punk gothness. Turn out the lights!

Nine Day Decline play their smashed-up dark emotional post-punk gothness with a burning passion.
The trinity of like-minded souls, sharing common influences such as Joy Division, Killing Joke, The Chameleons, Placebo, Play Dead, The Banshees & Bauhaus, making their music a dischordant but atmospheric soundscape into which dark emotional lyrics are woven.
