Free Papershake Christmas Origami Workshop At Christmas By The River

Join professional Origami Artist Michael Trew to make a range of unique Origami Christmas Decorations, all ready to hang on your tree! Michael has been folding paper since the age of 6 and has been a full time Origami Artist for 4 years as director of his company, Papershake Origami Ltd. Based in creative studios in East London, he has worked with high end retailers including Pandora, Liz Earle, Jo Malone and Harrods and has also designed origami models and installations for use in Branding, Advertising and PR for clients such as Channel 5, Yo!Sushi and Epson UK.

You’ll learn how to fold amazing icicles and Christmas stars; these are for all ages and experiences and everything will be provided so come and experience the fascinating world of Origami!

The workshop is being held at London Bridge City Presents Christmas By The River, the iconic Christmas market to the bankside of the Thames, with over 40 independent traders in beautiful Christmas themed wooden cabins. 

Offering handcrafted and bespoke gifts, Christmas By The River hosts a range of elegantly designed stalls as well as a selection of delicious festive food. It is the perfect spot for winter-warming drinks with a fully stocked bar serving cocktails, mulled wine and craft beers as the center-piece of this enchanting Christmas market.

London Bridge City Presents… Christmas By The River is open now from Monday – Sunday, 11am – 7pm until Tuesday 3rd January. The market will be at The Scoop More London, along The Queen’s Walk, through Hay’s Galleria and finishing at the London Bridge City Pier.
