Bourne & Hollingsworth Burn’s Night Party

Join Bourne & Hollingsworth for the ultimate Burns Night celebration on Thursday 25th January. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings, guests can celebrate the life of Robert Burns with a sophisticated night of whisky cocktails, ceilidh dancing and burns night banqueting.

Laddies and Lassies are invited to don their finest tartan attire and enter the stunning cocktail bar for a welcome whisky cocktail reception, a choice from a menu of five specially created Burns night creations, complete with the traditional Burns night piper.

Guests can then proceed down to the subterranean surrounds of Below & Hidden to celebrate the genius of Robert Burns with a tasting of five of Scotland’s best whiskies, sourced and selected to represent the breadth of flavour and diversity of character to be found in the golden drink so revered north of the border.

The Selkirk Grace will be recited, the haggis piped in, addressed and toasted, the immortal memory enacted, live music played, toast’s to the lassies and a vote of thanks as the dinner draws to a close with everyone joining hands for a rendition of Auld Lang Syne.

Those of a more extrovert disposition can participate in The Burns Factor and try their hand at reciting some of the poet’s trickier verses.

The festivities then continue as guests have an opportunity to get fair puckled dancing the Eightsome Reel, Strip the Willow and other traditional ceilidh favourites.

On the night, diners have the option to sate their druth, pairing their meal with a luxurious selection whiskies expertly selected and provided by Bruichladdich.
