Shiftless Shuffle Legendary Jazz Dance Session 2017

Shiftless Shuffle Jazz Dance on Sunday 19th February will see another exclusive and never-before DJ pairing, welcoming DJs Nick Hosier and Sylvester to the Shiftless Shuffle decks!

DJ Sylvester is commonly known as the Latin King and anyone who’s ever been to Notting hill Carnival will have heard of or experienced his Latin Rave Sound System, which the only sound that catered for Latin Music, attracting hundreds of Latin lovers over the two days of Carnival year in, year out. He is also the master of Afro Cuban Jazz & Latin. He had records that the heaviest of collectors had never seen.

We’re teaming Sylvester up with DJ Nick Hosier who is best known for his highly acclaimed "Jazz Workshop" on Stomp Radio (www.stompradio.com) every Wednesday night where he plays the cream of Dance floor Jazz, attracting an ever growing following of Music lovers and listeners.

Shiftless Shuffle is a unique Jazz Dance session that combines a 1 hour long class in the specialist Street-Fusion Jazz Dance style with a 5 hour club session that follows the class. The class, taught by Perry Louis of the JazzCotech Dancers, is open to Novices and experienced Dancers alike and will be tailored to all needs on the day, providing the opportunity to learn the rhythmical, intricate footwork and so-called drop moves that are iconic and exclusive to this style. The ensuing club session has people flocking to it from all corners of the UK. Billed as “the coolest thing to do in London on a Sunday” by Time Out, Shiftless Shuffle is the place to hang out, be seen and be inspired to strut your stuff to some incredible music, or simply kick back with a drink and enjoy watching the many Dancers do their thing.
