KinoVino, London's unique cinema-supper club, invites you to experience the real Beirut – a vibrant and dynamic city – though its cinema and its food. What’s more, this special edition celebrates the brilliant female talent of the city through the work of actress/film-maker Nadine Labaki and chef Bethany Kehdy. Labaki’s film Caramel, released in 2008, put Lebanese cinema on the world map and gave it a female face and voice, while Kehdy’s food, hailed by Yotam Ottolenghi, has opened our sense to a new kaleidoscope of flavours from the Middle East. Join us for a truly unique night of Lebanese film, wine and food, where you will get to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of contemporary Beirut enjoying a four-part gastronomic procession that will follow the screening of a deliciously touching and humours film, Caramel.
