A Shrew Like No Other, Let It Roll.
Produced and presented by Get Over It Productions

Hosted by The Cockpit

"Sit by my side, and let the world slip, we shall ne'er be younger."
Set in 1989 at the height of the rave culture this promises to be a Shrew like no other…

After a sell out run at The Camden Fringe 2016, Get Over It Productions have been invited to fill the houses once more at the Cockpit.

“In Get Over It Productions' version, Shakespeare's play is moved to 1989 … it works brilliantly. When Get Over It Productions are in town, book in advance. We highly recommend their work!”
– Views From The Gods

“…reimagined to satisfy the appetite of today’s audience… a strikingly original idea to choose such a context for this play.”
– A Younger Theatre

“…you will love Get Over It Production’s adaptation of William’s most wicked wench. Full of mischief, these girls are game for playing fools, resulting in an hour of good, plain, fun.”
– Scatter of Opinion

Founded by a group of core members in 2004 and headed by Paula Benson and Velenzia Spearpoint, Get Over It Productions are an all female ensemble presenting productions steeped in the traditions of physical theatre and the avant-garde.

Specializing mainly in performing all-female versions of Shakespeare, previous productions include; a Glam-Rock inspired Macbeth (The Roundhouse), a silent movie influenced Romeo and Juliet (Lion and Unicorn), and Victorian gothic The Tempest (The Cockpit/ Etcetera Theatre/ Bread and Roses) to name but a few.
