In 2016, David Frost, a property surveyor and Tom Donald, a classically trained, award winning pianist met at Tom's London Contemporay School of Piano. Now in 2017, they are launching the "Tom Donald Show", a visionary new format for the piano recital, where Queen might meet Rachmaninov, and the Beatles may join Beethoven while Mozart might go all Motown...
Since Tom, as the master of interpreting various musical styles, is in charge of the artistic direction of the shows, we cannot tell you exactly what he will be playing on the concert nights, but we can guarantee that these will be incomparable musical events.
A 9 foot concert grand piano Bluthner is providing for the event will fill your ears with unimaginable piano sounds.
The first 3 evenings take place in the beautifully intimate Front Parlour at Home House on Portland Square, London on 21st February and 7th & 21st March. The bar opens for pre-show drinks at 8pm with the performance starting at 8.30pm.
Listen to some short recordings or find out a little more about Tom Donald on the website.
