WORKSHOPS

JACA FREER - Drum Workshop 4-5pm
Jaca is a member of both Colour Me Wednesday and Ay Carmela, as well as running Freer Ideas. Freer Ideas performs, teaches and promotes music using an intersectional feminist analysis. Jaca also hosts the First Timers Workshops, a series of workshops followed by a weekend of gigs where every band plays its first show- providing a supportive context for people new to playing music.
Jaca's workshop at Grrrl is for anyone who has an interest in playing drums and needs a little push to start off!

RAISSA PARDINI - Zine Workshop 5-6pm
Raissa Pardini started her first fanzine a decade ago. Comprised of an A4 fold, the zine contained various music releases of the month/music features and it was distributed for free at gigs. In the meantime, Raissa graduated in Visual Art & Printing Processes and held a few printing and fanzine courses between Milan and Berlin. She then moved to London where she started working as a digital and print designer for the music publisher Music Sales Group. It was here, where she created the fanzine “One Way Ticket” that quickly became a free music magazine which was distributed all around the UK. Her works have also been featured in numerous publications as well as band artwork/logos etc.

FRIENDS IN THE DUNGEON - Riso Print Workshop - 6-7pm
Friends in the Dungeon are a new animation, illustration and print studio based in London. They recently produced Tarot cards for What Does Our Future Hold? Polyester x The Coven x Isabella Podpadec exhibition.
Their first pop up workshop will consist of a presentation about Riso printing followed by a drawing workshop for a one or two colour riso print. The finished prints will be posted to participants.
