Imperial Fringe: Science & Sports Day

It’s a Sports Day with a difference as Imperial College London join Queen's Park Ranger's football club in W12 to welcome families to a free, fun-filled festival of science and sport.

An opportunity to explore the science behind sport and have some fun before the Saturday matches kick off, this unique community event is for all the family.

With the chance to meet real-life scientists, train with real coaches and meet QPR footballers, discover the science of football and the secrets behind sporting success at our Science and Sports Day Imperial Fringe.
If you’re not football-crazy there will still be lots on offer - as well as food, drink and music, there will be games and hands-on science activities for all ages including fastest shot competition, sports drink chemistry, wearable 'ski coaches', lung testing, racing cars and more!

Science & Sport Day is the latest in Imperial College London’s Fringe series of public evening events exploring the livelier side of science. Based on the College’s ground-breaking research it brings together topical talks, interactive science and hands-on demonstrations in one exciting day to give our friends and supporters an opportunity to meet our researchers and find out more about our new campus in White City.
