This week, a special radio pop-up at St Pancras International will see trend-setting DJs Ashley James and Arielle Free, playing the latest tracks live in the station as they host their shows live on air in front of commuters.

Located next to Searcys Champagne Bar and the famous Betjeman Statue, the DJs will broadcast live on air for a total of 1,080 minutes inviting St Pancras visitors to discuss all things pop culture, whilst taking requests and conducting interviews.

Ashley James, DJ at Hoxton Radio says: “I love walking through St Pancras and hearing strangers and even well known celebrities playing tunes on the now iconic pianos. The live performances and free jukebox have cemented St Pancras as a destination for arts, culture and music, so it seemed the perfect place for Hoxton Radio. We can’t wait to entertain commuters and shoppers with our music over the next few days.”

The event launches St Pancras’ “festival season”, which sees the station’s extensive range of retailers including Prime Burger and Moyses Stevens offering special deals to celebrate a summer of live music events across the country.

Wendy Spinks, Commercial Director, HS1 Ltd (owners of St Pancras International) comments: “With 48 million visitors a year, we want to continue giving commuters and shoppers a wealth of different experiences each time they visit St Pancras. The Hoxton Radio pop-up will bring music and the community together under one iconic roof, and we’re looking forward to seeing the smiles on people’s faces as they enjoy seeing and interacting with these fantastic DJs as part of our festival season this summer.”
