Lipsync artist Ripley returns to the RVT with the follow-up to her smash hit show Like A Sturgeon on August 18th.

Like A Sturgeon: Coalition of Chaos will be 100% mimed, combining drag, pop and political parodies as Ripley aims to make sense of the current political climate, post General Election.

Ripley will channel some of today’s leading women from the world of politics including Nicola Sturgeon, Angela Merkel and Theresa May.

Expect generous servings of black forest gateau, rallying cries for Scottish independence and copious references to a well-hung parliament, all set to a backdrop of camp classics and cutting edge pop!

Each act is mixed and recorded by Ripley herself, containing her own vocal impressions, projected visuals and unique brand of ironic political humour.

Ripley is the winner of the 2016 It’s A Knockout competition at Halfway to Heaven and was nominated for Best New Cabaret Act in the 2016 Boyz Magazine Awards.
