Free Tibet Summer Shindig

*elebrate Tibetan culture and expression at Free Tibet’s Summer Shindig 2017

Unfolding from 7.30pm on Friday 18 August the event promises to be an open-platter of Tibetan culture, Tibetan culinary art and Tibetan activism… including a unique series of short films made by Tibetans around the theme of food.

Tibetan culture is under threat from China’s occupation but Tibetans continue to find creative ways of expressing their national identity and love of their homeland. Come and be inspired and find out how you can show your support.

The event takes place at the exciting Hackney Showrooms off Amhurst Road in Hackney. Tickets are just £6 per head and include free tasters of Momos (delicious-tasting Tibetan dumplings).
