‘Grease’ Is The Word - Stoke Place Hosts Its First Ever Pop-up Open Cinema Event

Calling all pupils of Rydell High! For one night only on Sunday 13th August from 7pm, Stoke Place, a stunning Grade II listed 17th Century Queen Anne mansion house in Buckinghamshire, is hosting its first ever pop-up open air cinema showing the 1970’s classic, Grease. What better way to spend an August ‘summer night’ than being outdoors surrounded by 26 acres of serene Capability Brown landscaped parkland watching one of the most iconic movies to ever grace the big screen.

Cinema goers are invited to bring along deck chairs and rugs and delicious champagne cocktails, home-made fresh popcorn and hampers of picnic treats will be available to purchase on the night.

Perfectly placed in the Home County of Buckinghamshire between Windsor, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield and Heathrow, the beautiful Stoke Place is only a 30 minute journey from the heart of Central London - perfect for that last minute getaway and movie night treat. Rooms are also available in the hotel for those wishing to stay over after the movie. The gorgeous grounds in which Grease will be shown were designed in 1765 by the now world famous garden architect, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. The charming and stylish Manor House boasts a triple rosette restaurant and stunning ‘Butterfly Bar’ to cater for all cinema goers needs.

Doors to the open air cinema event open at 7pm and the event will also feature a photo booth with classic Grease-themed props. Guests are welcome to come in Grease inspired dress, re-create those 70’s high school memories and share them with friends using #stokeplacesummer.
