Syrian dining in spectacular tunnels under Waterloo station around Peace Day.

Conflict Café Syria, the pop-up restaurant that serves peace through food is back with a three course Syrian sharing feast.

Diners will enjoy no less than 9 dishes from chefs from Syrian restaurant Ayam Zaman, that specialises in the cuisine of the Damascus region of Syria.

Our guests are seated on communal tables in the spectacular underground tunnels of House of Vans London, located under Waterloo station, and full of atmosphere.

Conflict Café, created by peacebuilding charity, International Alert, celebrates our strong belief that food can be a powerful tool for breaking down barriers and deepening understanding. We’ve served over 1000 diners, highlighting cuisines and conflicts from Sri Lanka to Colombia, and celebrating the power of food to bring people together. Profits from ticket sales go towards supporting International Alert’s work building peace in 25 countries and regions, including the Middle East.

We’re a welcoming space, perfect for groups and diners who come alone. Experience Syrian hospitality and understand what's happening in the region, make new friends, and even win prizes with a quiz.
