Brighton Fringe Award Winners Mac & Eden promise an 'Unbearable' Camden Fringe

A year on from beating over 70+ entrants and winning the Brighton Fringe Best Cabaret Award, musical comedy duo Mac & Eden are still unashamedly milking it for all it's worth! Even being caught for photoshopping George Clooney into their award ceremony photo hasn't dampened their enthusiasm because it is literally the only prize either of them has ever won!

With shades of Wood and Walters, this singer-songwriter/actress duo take the audience on a turbulent ascent and descent through the highs and lows of womanhood. Passive-aggressive flight attendant McDonald and control- freak pilot Eden embark upon a hilarious and moving musical journey.

Being female can be an unbearably silly business on this oestrogen-driven emotional roller-coaster ride from pigtails to puberty, stilettos to strollers, marriage to messing it up.

With candid, poignant and irreverent original songs with titles as intriguing and worrying as 'I Wish You Had a Penis', 'Ikea', 'Andrex Man' and 'Great Big Period Pants', The Unbearable Pleasure of being a Woman is entirely the creation of singer/songwriter (and long- term mentor to Sam Smith) Joanna Eden and West End and National Theatre actress Leigh McDonald.

Tues 15 August 7.30pm Canal Cafe Theatre

Thurs 17 August 7.45pm The Water Rats

Sat 19 August 9.30 Camden Comedy Club!
