Murray Lachlan Young will be performing his family show at Battersea Power Station as part of the Power Festival.

Battersea Power Station’s Circus West Village has got a bumper filled festival lined up for the rest of the summer with activities and pop ups for all of the family.

Murray Lachlan Young’s Modern Cautionary Tales for Children is hilarious and shows children that poetry can be fun, thought provoking and even quite cool!

A raucous, silly, scary, funny, poignant and enlightening hour of merriment and mayhem, packed with dark tales and nonsense.
The show gets children dancing on-stage, completing simple fun poems, being ponies and getting seriously involved in live interactive poetry. Widely regarded as one of the UK's foremost performance poets, Lachlan Young is a BBC 6 Resident poet and a regular fixture on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live , BBC Test Match Special, The Shipping Forecast and current resident post on BBC 6 Music.
