Quartet Ranagri fuse Celtic folk music with contemporary songwriting, enhanced by vibrant rhythms and haunting melodies. Their rich instrumentation ranges from flutes, irish whistles and guitar to bodhran, bouzouki and electric harp. Fresh from tours with Tony Christie and Justin Currie (of Del Amitri), Ranagri bring new vigour to Irish traditional music.
Solasta interpret traditional Celtic material whilst incorporating elements from classical, jazz and early music. Comprising award-winning fiddler Elisabeth Flett, cellist Hannah Thomas and guitarist Jamie Leeming, they are known for their unique sound and exhilarating live performances.
Folk at the Foundling brings traditional music from the British Isles and beyond to the unique surroundings of the Foundling Museum, showcasing folk legends and breakthrough artists in our beautiful and intimate Picture Gallery.
