The chef's table takes place on 1 to 2 weekends a month at Kitchen Theory, a gastronomy research and design studio working with Oxford University.

This is an immersive experience giving a first-hand insight into the creative process of a chef and his team.

The emerging science of ‘gastrophysics’ is a field of study looking at how we perceive flavour in the brain using all of our senses. It is a perceptual science which takes into consideration how all our senses work together (rather than in isolation) to formulate our internal perception of flavour and find appreciation/satiety in food beyond just taste and aroma.

The Gastrophysics Chef’s Table uses the findings from our research as a paradigm for developing an immersive and sensory experience around precise and beautifully cooked dishes.

The intimate dining experience caters to only 10 guests in a beautiful tucked away warehouse loft in North London serving up 13 multisensory courses designed to provoke all 5 of human's senses.
