The Affordable Art Fair is excited to announce a partnership that celebrates all the local Battersea community has to offer, as Battersea Power Station supports this year's Recent Graduates' Exhibition. With an exciting extension to the exhibition taking place in The Village Hall at Circus West Village on the newly opened Battersea Power Station site, visitors to the fair will be able to pick up a 'Power of Art Trail' map and follow it to discover the pop-up display featuring work by Seungio Jeong, Millie Layton, and Realf Heygate.

Seungjo Jeong - RCA Painting graduate

South Korean artist Seungjo Jeong creates pared-back canvases that explore the relationship between viewer and artist through the almost abstract evocation of objects. His paintings draw on the aesthetics of everyday technology, the shapes that, for example, make up a tape cassette or speakers, without referencing particular brands so that the viewer can project his or her own feelings and memories on to the image.

Millie Layton - Glasgow School of Fine Art graduate

Her work deals with creating absurdist environments and a sculptural landscape in the gallery.

Realf Heygate - CSM graduate

His work combines painting with 3D scanning to explore the archaeology of an object’s image. He approaches the original as the source of a long lineage, and then follows its transferral through mediums observing “both its withering and revival”. He explores notions of copy and authenticity.
