The St. Martin’s Courtyard rooftop is home to 150,000 honeybees in three busy hives which produce 10,000ml of honey a year. On Wednesday 25th October 11am – 2pm, to celebrate National Honey Week, the courtyard is hosting a buzzy day filled of free workshops, talks and delicious honey made in the courtyard itself.

Enjoy free honey tasting and join in with a free beeswax candle making class, creating your own candles to take home. The day will also include a series of insightful talks from local bee keepers about the bee hives in St Martin’s Courtyard and how honey is produced. A key activity for half term, guests can come down to St Martin’s Courtyard and get involved in National Honey Week for free.

Jars of exclusive St Martin’s Courtyard honey will be available to pick up throughout the day for a small charitable donation towards The Bee Keepers Association. Raising the awareness of protecting our local bee hives.

Who knew that honey was a key ingredient to everyday life? Enjoy the honey elsewhere in the courtyard, from key beauty products to honey infused wine…

& Other Stories uses honey in its hand cream, Mayweed Cuticle & nail balm, Caliper body oil and lip balm.
Dalla Terra produce honey infused wine, called Trebbiano Garganega Pietra. Plus, orange blossom cordial juices and herbal teas containing honey from The East India Company. At popular breakfast spot in the courtyard, Bills, honey is a menu staple where you can enjoy their honey glazed mini Cumberland sausages. Bills will also be incorporating the St Martin’s Courtyard honey into a bespoke dish, made available especially for the week.
