Lunchtime Special: Gospel With James Francis

James spent his childhood honing his skills as a singer and performer by appearing in, and frequently winning, talent shows and singing competitions across South London. This early success encouraged him look to music as a career, and since turning professional he has become a highly sought after session singer whose resume includes tours with chart topping UK artist JP Cooper, X-Factor winner Ben Haenow and shows at the Royal Albert Hall with Josh Groban. A versatile artist who can perform everything from RnB to Soulful House, Blues and Pop he has never lost sight of the fact that it's his foundations in the church that bring his music to life. With a debut single released this August, a second single in the pipeline before Christmas and an EP line up for the spring, this is an artist to keep a close eye on. Today James will be appearing with his 5-piece band including 2 accompanying singers to perform a set that he describes as a mix of original material and Gospel Classics. Sounds fun.
