LONDON WINE FEST HITS LONDON THIS NOVEMBER
A brand new wine festival series for London wine lovers
Chapter 1: Hungary – New Wines from the Old World

This November marks the launch of a brand new wine festival in the capital. Aiming to bring a buzzing London crowd face-to-face with winemakers, sommeliers and wine experts from around the world in a fun, informal setting, London Wine Fest is a wine festival series that will focus on a single wine theme or country per event, taking wine lovers of all kinds on a journey of discovery around the wine world.

Chapter 1: Hungary – New Wines from the Old World takes place at Studio-Spaces in Wapping (100m from Tobacco Dock) on 17-18 Nov 2017. This first-of-its kind London event will give attendees the chance to discover classic and new wines from this Old World country whose millennium-old winemaking heritage remains virtually unknown to UK consumers.

Top producers from regions such as Tokaj, Mátra, Eger, Somló, Balaton, Szekszárd and Villány will be represented, with winemakers on hand to talk about and pour their wines.

London Wine Fest aims to cut through the elitism of the subject, making premium quality wines and the stories behind them accessible to everyone. With more than 1,000 wine lovers expected to attend, attendees will have the chance to chat face-to-face with winemakers, expert guest speakers, sommeliers and other likeminded wine lovers in a casual way – and of course taste an array of fantastic wines. Hungarian-themed street food prepared by one of Budapest’s top chefs will be available throughout the event.
