From 2 to 8th of November the Atrium of the Westfield London will turn into the scenic and enchanting Philippines islands during the visual showcase called "Romantic Philippines". The Department of Tourism, in its desire to showcase the Philippines as an exceptional wedding destination in Asia, brings beautiful destinations for weddings and honeymoons in the country executed as a theatrical presentation featuring contemporary bridal fashions, and seamlessly fused with romantic music rendered by some of the Philippines' most talented singers.

The highlight of the week-long extravaganza will be the fashion show on the 7th of November at 19:00 featuring Renee Salud’s neo-ethnic fashion collection made from the indigenous weaves of the Philippines – as part of the initiative to highlight all the major weaves of the island and the age-old artistry of Filipino weaving.

Reene is hailed as an in icon in Philippine fashion scene and has been known to champion the development and promotion of Filipino fashion industry for the purpose of reaching the global market. His intricate combinations of beadwork and use of native textiles have been exhibited at Expos all over the world including Tokyo, Taipei, Seville and the Caribbean and many places around the world and in the Philippines.

"I do ethnic clothes with international appeal – that's how I envision. I incorporate the old school and new school of fashion. My inspiration is the Philippines and the Filipino people," says the designer.

The fashion show will be accompanied by the traditional and delightful musical performances from former Ms. Saigon sensation, Ms. Irma Castro, and the Ryan Cayabyab Singers. Come to get to appreciate and know more about the Philippines through food, cultural and musical performances, travel display, and virtual tours.
